Testimony: I grew up in a Christian home, but about age 7, I realized that it wasn’t enough that my
parents believed in God. I knew that at some point I would have to make their faith my own. So
as best I could understand that at age 7, I prayed a simple prayer one night as my parents tucked
me into bed. I said, “Jesus come into my heart.” God heard and answered that prayer.
Favorite Ministry story: I’ll never forget the Sunday morning service at a church in Berlin, Germany. We
were singing the hymn “Holy, Holy, Holy”. The band was singing in English and the congregation was singing in German. It was an incredible moment of worship as the “nations” sang God’s praises.
What God’s been teaching you lately: I just finished reading the book “The Journey of Desire” by John
Eldrige. I’ve struggled over the past few years with unfulfilled dreams. God reminded me through the
book that this life is just temporary and the “great” life is yet to come. It’s too easy to focus on the
temporary and allow the priority of the eternal to be diminished.
